Choosing a therapist, especially during pregnancy or postpartum, can feel like a vulnerable and important decision. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to show up as you are. I specialize in working with women navigating anxiety, feelings of overwhelm, and perfectionism during pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood. Many of my clients are used to holding it all together, yet feel anxious, stretched thin, or disconnected during this transition. This can be completely disorienting, leaving you feeling like it is hard to ask for support. My approach is integrative and holistic, combining evidence-based therapy with mindfulness and mind–body practices. With my background as a psychologist and training as a yoga teacher, I help clients not only gain insight, but also feel more regulated and capable. I offer a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where we can make sense of your experience and develop tools that feel realistic and sustainable. Therapy with me is about creating space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with a clearer sense of what they need and how to care for themselves

Treatment Approach

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
  • Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy is integrative, which means I draw from a range of evidence-based therapies and tailor our work to your specific needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. Depending on what you’re experiencing, we may incorporate practical tools to help manage anxiety and overwhelm, while also creating space to explore patterns, emotions, and the deeper shifts that often come with becoming a parent. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I integrate mindfulness and mind–body practices to support your overall well-being. Anxiety and stress don’t just live in our thoughts—they show up physically, too. Together, we might incorporate grounding techniques, breathwork, or simple awareness practices to help you feel more regulated, present, and connected to yourself. My goal is not only to help you understand what you’re going through, but to support you in feeling more steady, capable, and at ease in your everyday life. Our work is collaborative, paced in a way that feels manageable, and centered around what will be most helpful and sustainable for you.
