Treatment Approach

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
  • Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
Approach Description: My therapy philosophy is based in existentialism, which is a lens that focuses on personal freedom, living authentically, and crafting meaning for ourselves. Often, I’ll pair existentialism with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which encourages freedom of choice through increased mindfulness and self-awareness of our own values. That said, I try to be holistic in my approach, as humans are dynamic and wonderfully complicated. Wellness is not a box we can cram ourselves into; it is a discovery process that is lifelong and unique to all of us.

Aria Loveless-Green Practice Description
Have you ever felt so lost you weren't sure who you are anymore? Have you entered a new phase in your life that has you realizing that maybe you never knew who you were? It feels like you've been wearing a mask so long that there's nothing underneath it anymore. You live each day in fear of how to deal with the uncertainty of how people might react if they knew the real you. Have you struggled to get your teen to open up? To go to school? To get their work done? Is your teen struggling with their emotions? Their relationships? You find yourself at a loss to help them, or even get them to talk to you at all. I'm here to help! My priority is to create a safe, trusting space where you can truly be yourself. I'll accept you as you are, build a relationship with you, and offer you new perspectives and challenges to grow as a human. I know how hard it is to live as a neurodivergent person in a neurotypical world. I know how hard it is to carry trauma around with you and have to pretend like everything is okay. You don't have to hide behind a smile or be anyone other than yourself when you're in the room with me. Let's discover what it means to be you. Together, we can help you build a life full of joy and wellness.
