Treatment Approach
- Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
Approach Description: My approach is compassionate, Christ-centered, and focused on getting beneath the surface of what you’re experiencing. Rather than simply managing symptoms, we explore the emotional wounds, beliefs, and patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, overwhelm, or feeling stuck. I integrate biblical truth with practical, trauma-informed tools to help you understand yourself more deeply, renew your thinking, heal at the root, and move toward lasting freedom and change.

At True You Ministries, I provide Christ-centered pastoral counseling for women who love God but still find themselves feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or caught in patterns they don’t fully understand. You may know biblical truth, pray faithfully, and genuinely desire change—yet still wonder, “Why do I keep feeling this way?” or “Why can’t I seem to move past this?”
My approach is designed to help you look beneath the surface rather than simply manage symptoms. Together, we explore the emotional wounds, unhealthy beliefs, past experiences, coping patterns, and relational dynamics that may be influencing how you think, feel, and respond today. The goal is not to judge your reactions, but to understand where they come from so meaningful healing and lasting change can begin.
I integrate biblical truth with practical, trauma-informed tools in a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment. Faith is not treated as separate from the healing process—it is an important part of understanding your identity, renewing your mind, and learning to live from the truth of who God created you to be.
I work with women experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, relationship struggles, difficulty setting boundaries, unhealthy patterns, betrayal trauma, and other areas where they may feel stuck. I also provide specialized support for betrayal recovery and sex addiction recovery.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sometimes you simply know that something isn’t working anymore and you’re ready to understand why. My role is to walk alongside you as we identify what may be happening beneath the surface and help you develop healthier ways of thinking, responding, relating, and moving forward.
