Relationships shape who we are, who we become, and how we experience the world—and when they feel strained or disconnected, every part of our lives is impacted. Helping people find their way back to one another is work I feel honored to do. As a therapist trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), I believe conflict and distance often mask unmet attachment needs and emotions longing to be understood. My role is to create a "brave space" where those deeper experiences can be explored and responded to in new ways. Clients often tell me I'm approachable and genuine. Therapy is vulnerable work, and I bring warmth, curiosity, compassion, and humor into our sessions. Whether you're a couple longing to reconnect or a family navigating conflict, I'm committed to helping you build stronger bonds and deeper connection. I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.

Treatment Approach
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Play Therapy Uses toys, games, and creative play to help children express emotions. It is especially useful when children can’t fully verbalize their feelings.
Approach Description: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) rests on a simple truth: we are all wired to need close, dependable connection with the people we love. When that connection feels threatened, we protest, criticize, withdraw, or shut down, and before long couples and families get stuck in a painful cycle that no one wants but no one knows how to stop. In EFT, the problem isn't you or your partner or your child. The problem is the cycle. First, we slow things down and map the pattern you're caught in, so you can see it clearly and stop blaming each other. Next, we look beneath the anger and distance to the softer feelings and unmet needs driving it, like fear, hurt, or loneliness, and help you share them in ways that draw each other closer. Finally, we strengthen these new patterns so you can handle future challenges on your own. EFT is structured, research-based, and focused on lasting change, not just better communication skills but a deeper sense that you can count on each other.
