Hi, I'm Marysa. My approach to therapy is this: you are the expert on you. Our work together will be a grounding space for self-reflection, where we uncover your inner strength to cultivate hope and forge a path forward. Therapy is your process. I will always invite you to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable, going at a pace that feels right for you. As your therapist, I will support you in understanding the way stress and trauma show up in both the mind and the body so that your healing can be something you feel in your bones.

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.

I specialize in treating burnout for working individuals. Our upbringing, culture and society can shape the way that we connect to our own self-worth. When we carry false beliefs about our self-worth such as, "my worth is tied to my productivity," "rest is weakness," "I need to be twice as good to be valued," these can impact how we show up in the workplace and lead to burnout. Burnout can look like constant fatigue, chronic illness, aches and pains as well as emotional overwhelm, inability to see solutions and a general pessimism about work. Extreme burnout can even cause people to leave their profession. As a social worker, I recognize that most folks must work to live. I also deeply understand the meaning and value our careers hold in our lives. So many folks spend years dreaming, studying and working hard to be successful in their profession. I believe that we shouldn't have to suffer to live out our dreams. Let me help you restore balance so that you can lead a life that is both meaningful and easeful.
