Welcome, I am Chris and I have a passion for working with my clients to identify what their unique goals are and supporting them in reaching them. I have experience working with people from various backgrounds and challenges, but I especially enjoy working with those in the LGTBQI+ community, seniors, folk going through fertility, adoption, or pregnancy, bereavement, grief, life changes, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. If you feel like we might be a good fit, please reach out so we can have a brief phone call. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Treatment Approach
- Biopsychosocial Therapy Takes into account biological, psychological, and social factors in understanding mental health. It looks at the whole person, not just symptoms.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
- Psychosocial Therapy Looks at how social and environmental factors affect psychological health. It emphasizes relationships, community, and resilience.
Fees & Insurance
Fees
- Average Session Fee Intake $250, 45 Minute Individual Psychotherapy $150, 53+ Minute Individual Psychotherapy $175, 30 Minute Individual Psychotherapy $125
- Affordable sliding scale therapy: apply if you may be eligible.
- As a clinician I want to support those who cannot afford traditional therapy fees so I offer a sliding scale. I believe that therapy should be accessible to all- regardless of income, whether one lacks health insurance, or their health insurance doesn’t provide adequate mental health benefits. I only work with a few sliding scale clients at any given time. It is my hope that in the future your circumstances will change so you will no longer need to use a sliding scale. When this happens, I will be able to offer your spot to someone else and we can discuss continuing our work together through another method of reimbursement. Sliding scale is offered on a case-by-case basis, need is evaluated every 3 months, and the average time of use is expected to be 6 months, or 26 sessions, whichever occurs first.
