Perhaps you appear to have it all together on the outside while privately feeling anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, or exhausted by the effort of simply getting through the day. When the ways we learned to cope no longer serve us, it can be difficult to know how to move forward. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. I support individuals and couples in understanding, articulating, and transforming their stories so they can move toward more meaningful relationships and a deeper connection with themselves.

Client Focus

Session Format: Couple, Individual sessions.
Age Specialty: Adult, Teen, Young Adult

Treatment Approach

  • Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Emotion-Focused Therapy Emotion-focused therapy supports emotional awareness and expression, helping individuals understand underlying feelings, transform unhelpful emotional patterns, and develop healthier responses to personal and relationship challenges.
  • Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
  • Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
  • Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
  • Jungian Therapy Draws on Carl Jung’s ideas about archetypes, dreams, and the collective unconscious. It helps people explore deeper layers of meaning.
  • Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.

Grace Fine Practice Description
I believe meaningful change begins with understanding the whole picture: our histories, our environments, our relationships, and the messages our bodies carry. My background in biology and systemic therapy informs the way I approach our work, helping us explore how your experiences have shaped you, how familiar patterns may be showing up in your life today, and what it might look like to create something different. I strive to create a space where you can bring your full self into therapy, including the parts that feel vulnerable, hidden, or difficult to accept. My presence is steady, curious, and thoughtful. Drawing from narrative therapy, attachment-based approaches, parts work, and somatic principles, I tailor our work to your unique experiences, needs, and goals. I work with individuals and couples whose lives have been touched by trauma, whether through clearly identifiable events or more subtle, often overlooked experiences. I support clients navigating major life transitions, changing family dynamics, relational challenges, and the process of making sense of painful experiences. Together, we can explore old patterns, deepen your understanding of yourself and others, and reconnect with your sense of aliveness, agency, and authenticity.
