I have been a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist for 25 years working clinically in private practice in West Perth Western Australia. I have had three trainings, the last of which was in Paris for the world association of psychoanalysis. My work is fundamentally about breaking down the emotional, psychological and unconscious obstacles for each person to develop their own singular soulful purpose and desire in life. Significantly this involves building trust in relationship.

- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Object Relations Therapy Focuses on how early caregiver relationships shape current relationships. It aims to improve patterns of attachment and trust.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychoanalytic Therapy Based on Freud’s theories, it explores unconscious conflicts and past experiences. It seeks to bring hidden issues into awareness.

My private practice provides a highly confidential space relationally and environmentally and upholds a strong ethical disposition that respects each individual person’s integrity.
I offer a free interview session to begin with followed by 4 to 6 consecutive weekly sessions. After this time we commit to the long-term work of psychoanalytic therapy, preferably twice a week. This is negotiable.
