With over 25 years of experience helping individuals, teens, and families navigate life’s challenges, I offer a warm, compassionate, and effective approach to therapy. I specialize in supporting women in all stages, midlife and beyond, as they move through transitions such as divorce, parenting changes, and the empty nest stage, as well as addressing anxiety, depression, mood changes, trauma, and relationship concerns. In addition to traditional therapy, I am a Licensed Plant Medicine Facilitator in Training offering psychedelic-assisted therapy, including ketamine and psilocybin therapy. These modalities have been shown to help reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma while fostering greater connection, healing, and self-understanding. My approach combines deep respect for these medicines with evidence-based therapeutic support in a safe, nurturing environment. I am also co-founder of Wellness and Wisdom Journeys, where I lead wellness retreats for women in Colorado and internationally. These small, carefully curated retreats weave together yoga, somatic practices, creative expression, and guided healing experiences designed to reconnect mind, body, and spirit. Whether you’re seeking healing, renewal, or greater meaning in your life, I offer a safe space to explore your journey with care and compassion.

Treatment Approach

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
  • Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
  • Hypnotherapy Uses guided relaxation and focus to access the subconscious mind. It is often used for habits, anxiety, and pain management.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
  • Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I offer a specialized, eclectic approach based on my client's needs and what specifcially their goals are for therapy. My approach is a collaborative process with the client.

Reaching out for support takes strength, and I commend you for taking that step. With over 25 years of experience as a licensed therapist, I provide warm, compassionate, and effective care for individuals, teens, and families navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, and depression. My approach is eclectic and grounded in connection. I tailor therapy to each client’s needs, integrating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety and mood issues, brainspotting for trauma and somatic symptoms, and family and parent therapy for communication and emotional balance. In addition to traditional therapy, I offer psychedelic-assisted therapy, including ketamine and psilocybin-supported sessions, for those seeking deeper healing and transformation. These evidence-based modalities can help relieve symptoms of depression, trauma, and anxiety while reconnecting clients with their inner healing intelligence. I create a safe, supportive environment where growth unfolds at your pace. As a parent and long-time therapist, I understand the challenges of motherhood, midlife transitions, and rediscovering yourself after major life changes. My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that healing happens through connection — to self, to others, and to something greater.
