Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC
therapist: Thoughts Feelings Behaviors Health Services,

My goal is to help people when they feel like they need a neutral, educated, opinion. I have found that when we feel as if we don't have an answer to our problems, talking to a therapist helps. I take this advice and seek a therapist when I feel stuck. when we have stress at work or home, It can often compound to other areas such as relationships, sleep, and health. Bringing balance back to one area can help to find relief in all the other aspects of our lives. Mental disorders can often complicate this process but with proper care, health and happiness can be achieved by everyone. it is my goal to provide that for my clients.

Treatment Approach

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
  • Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
  • Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
  • Jungian Therapy Draws on Carl Jung’s ideas about archetypes, dreams, and the collective unconscious. It helps people explore deeper layers of meaning.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
Approach Description: I mainly use cognitive behavior therapy during treatment but I am well versed in several other approaches if they are needed for specific problems. One therapy modality does not fit all problems.

Thoughts Feelings Behaviors Health Services Practice Description
Thoughts, feelings, and behaviors health services in rooted in the idea that our thoughts affect the way we feel which affects the way we act. Therefore, if I think negatively, I will feel negative, and I will behave negatively. Likewise, If I feel I think positively, I feel positive, and I will behave positively. All these areas affect each other. So if we can change one from negative to positive, the rest will follow suit. Now, this is not as easy as it is stated here but it is proven to work. I am easygoing and I love what I do. I have hours during the daytime as well as into the evening to accommodate different schedules. I am just a text away if an emergency happens. I fully understand that problems don't happen one hour a week. I am not only trying to help bring balance back to people's lives, but also give them the tools to help maintain that balance on their own.
