I believe that our experiences shape us, but they don't have to define the rest of our lives. As a therapist, I enjoy helping people make sense of these experiences, recognize patterns that may no longer serve them, and discover new ways of relating to themselves and others. My approach is genuine, compassionate, and collaborative. I bring curiosity and an open mind to the therapeutic process, recognizing that every person's story is different. I especially enjoy working with individuals who are ready to explore what's beneath the surface, whether that means processing difficult experiences or navigating the complexities of relationships, career, and personal growth. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest, feel understood, and begin making changes that extend beyond the therapy session.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My therapeutic approach integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness. I draw from these approaches based on your individual needs, goals, and readiness for change. EMDR can help process distressing experiences that continue to affect the present. IFS offers a way to understand the different parts of ourselves, including the protective patterns and emotional wounds that influence how we think, feel, and behave. ACT and mindfulness help develop greater awareness, emotional flexibility, and the ability to respond to life's challenges in ways that align with personal values. I believe therapy is more than simply talking about problems. It's an opportunity to develop insight, work through what has been holding you back, and create new ways of experiencing yourself and the world around you.
