I am a Christian trauma-informed therapist trained in EMDR, helping adults navigate a range of issues including codependency. My approach is relationally supportive and I seek to create a safe space where meaningful change can occur. I offer both weekly therapy and short term EMDR intensives. We will work to identify therapeutic goals and apply evidence-based counseling approaches that promote lasting growth and healing. Whether you are seeking relief from anxiety and relationship stress or seek growth in emotional resilience, my goal is to support you with care, clarity, and respect throughout your therapeutic journey.

Treatment Approach
- Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and hope-filled. I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles by understanding symptoms as adaptive responses to stress or trauma rather than personal deficits.
A trauma-informed lens views many diagnoses as descriptions of how the brain and nervous system have learned to survive. Together, we work from a position of health to gently shift survival patterns that are no longer serving you, helping your system develop more adaptive and life-giving ways of coping.
My work is grounded in evidence-based practice and, when desired, thoughtfully integrates Christian faith in a way that honors both psychological healing and spiritual renewal.
