Do you feel overwhelmed, on edge, or disconnected from yourself and others? I help people struggling with anxiety, trauma, and disconnection find clarity, relief, and a sense of self. Many of my clients are experiencing anxious thoughts, a chronic illness/pain, or symptoms related to trauma. I know how this can leave you feeling isolated and exhausted. You deserve support from someone who truly understands the hijacking realities of PTSD, CPTSD, and the debilitating symptoms of chronic pain and illness. During our sessions, we slow things down to notice what gets activated -- whether that’s a freeze response of shutting down, anxiety taking over and feeling on edge, or stressful flair ups -- and understand where those patterns come from. More than just talking through situations, we pay attention to how your body responds. That helps you recognize patterns earlier and respond differently instead of getting pulled into the same cycles. I know it can feel overwhelming to take that first step, but reaching out for support is a powerful choice toward healing. I’m here to walk with you through this journey, offering a compassionate and safe space to explore and grow. Book a free 15 min consultation to begin your healing process and create lasting change.

Treatment Approach

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
  • Psychoanalytic Therapy Based on Freud’s theories, it explores unconscious conflicts and past experiences. It seeks to bring hidden issues into awareness.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
  • Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I offer a supportive and collaborative approach, balancing validation with challenging ineffective thought and behavior patterns. Trained in The Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), I use a blend of somatic experiencing and parts-work to help my client's understand why they do the things they do. In other words, when we find ourselves saying "Yes, but ..." When we don't want to continue doing something, yet we just can’t seem to stop. Parts work helps to uncover the driving reasons behind ineffective thoughts and behaviors to bring about change. Using a trauma informed lens, I focus on helping my clients to regulate their nervous system activation (the flight, fight, freeze, fawn responses). By labeling and identifying emotions, client's will be able to manage and regulate these feelings and stop feeling hijacked by them.
