I take a warm, direct, and collaborative approach to therapy. My work is rooted in both somatic and psychodynamic traditions, and I draw from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to support clients in understanding how their experiences live in the body as well as the mind. I integrate body-based tools, nervous system awareness, and a focus on patterns in relationships to help clients make meaningful, lasting change. My style is active and engaged, and I aim to create a space where you can explore what's going on with honesty, curiosity, and support.

Treatment Approach
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
- Intersubjective Therapy Explores the shared emotional experience between therapist and client. It emphasizes connection and mutual understanding.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy is collaborative and grounded in building a strong, trusting relationship. I believe meaningful change happens through deep understanding, not quick fixes. I work at a pace that honors where you are, creating a spacious and patient environment where we can fully explore the complexity of your experience.
I draw from somatic therapy and parts work to help you connect more fully with what’s happening in your body and mind, and to better understand the different aspects of yourself that may be in conflict or in pain. My goal is to support lasting change by helping you feel more aware, resourced, and connected—to yourself and to others.

I work with individuals, couples, and families using a blend of somatic, relational, and psychodynamic approaches. My training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy supports trauma work that is grounded in the body, helping clients develop greater awareness of how past experiences may show up in physical sensations, emotional patterns, and ways of relating. I also draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a powerful model for helping couples understand and shift stuck patterns, build trust, and foster deeper emotional connection.
A key element of my work across all modalities is parts work—an approach that helps us make sense of the different internal voices, feelings, and needs that may sometimes conflict with each other. This can be especially helpful for clients navigating trauma, self-doubt, or relational stress. I also bring a psychodynamic lens, which means we explore how early experiences, unconscious patterns, and relationship dynamics may still be influencing your present-day life.
My approach is deeply informed by an understanding of how culture, identity, and systems shape our experiences. I don’t believe healing happens in a vacuum—we are all impacted by the environments and histories we live within. I see therapy as a space where you can feel supported and also gently challenged. I work to help clients build awareness of what’s happening internally in the moment, and to cultivate the capacity to choose how they respond to their thoughts, feelings, and relationships.
Mindfulness, compassion, and curiosity are core tools in my work. Whether you're looking for relief from painful patterns or exploring what it means to live in a more connected and intentional way, therapy can be a space to feel more intentional, resourced, and fully yourself.
