Treatment Approach

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
  • Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
  • Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.

Bruce Clark Practice Description
I offer therapy and assessments to adults across each PSYPACT state who are looking for compassionate support and meaningful change. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, or just want insight and accommodation, this is a space where you can slow down, be yourself, and feel heard. Therapy works best when it’s built on collaboration and respect. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or worn out from trying to keep it all together. They may struggle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, or a sense that they’re never doing enough (despite seemingly doing everything). Others come in feeling lost or empty, maybe even disconnected from themselves and the life they’re living. Some identify as neurodivergent, whether through ADHD, autism, or AuDHD, and are seeking support that understands and affirms those experiences. Using a warm and mindfulness-based approach, I help clients better understand and manage those upsetting thoughts that keep them anxious, exhausted, or worn out. My work blends evidence-based methods like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), compassion-focused work, and insight with a person-centered lens. That means that I don’t just manage symptoms, but rather manage how you respond to those symptoms more effectively. I want you to gain that insight and those skills so you can live a more fulfilling life. In addition to therapy, I also offer virtual comprehensive psychological assessments for adults, including ADHD and personality testing. These evaluations can provide clarity, validation, and recommendations for accommodations, work/school supports, or just treatment planning. I approach assessment as not a cold or clinical process, but as an empowering opportunity for you to better understand yourself and your needs. The rates for these assessments vary. Please check my website (mindfulyoubh.com) for more details. All services are offered online through secure video sessions, making therapy accessible across the United States. Wherever you happen to be, as long as you are in one of the 40+ PSYPACT states, you can access support without commuting or rearranging your life to make it work. I want to make this process flexible, approachable, and centered around your needs. Getting established with a psychologist can be a vulnerable step, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. But you don’t have to keep carrying everything by yourself. If you’re ready to understand yourself more deeply, reduce anxiety or self-criticism, and reconnect with what matters, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Let's get you back to a more meaningful lifestyle.
