Kristin FitzGerald
Kristin FitzGerald is Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of TherapyTribe and Teletherapy.io, a website designer for therapists, and a mother of two. Throughout her career, she has had a knack for spotting what people need before they ask for it, and for reading where the market is headed. For nearly 20 years she has used that skill to help private practice therapists get found and grow their practices.
Kristin began her career at BBDO Advertising on the Starbucks account, then provided marketing consulting at Bainbridge for clients such as Coca-Cola and Microsoft. At Kyocera Mobile she led product planning and managed the company’s relationship with BMW DesignworksUSA. As Marketing Director at Amp’d Mobile, she worked with Motorola to bring new devices to market. In 2006, she co-founded WebTribes, Inc. When members of its support communities asked for help finding a therapist, she helped build TherapyTribe, followed by free practice websites, a hands-on design service and Teletherapy.io.
Today Kristin leads marketing, design and content strategy across TherapyTribe’s products. She writes about the business side of private practice: meeting real client demand, standing out online and building a professional presence.
Kristin holds a B.A. in Communications, cum laude, from UCLA, and a certificate in Services Marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
