Ryan FitzGerald, CEO and Co-Founder
Ryan FitzGerald is CEO and Co-Founder of WebTribes, Inc., the company behind TherapyTribe and Teletherapy.io. He has worked in internet marketing and technology for more than 20 years, and leads SEO and technical development across the WebTribes properties.
Before WebTribes, Ryan helped grow web-hosting company Interland (now Web.com) and streaming media company VitalStream. He has always looked for ways to use technology to help people. Shortly before starting WebTribes, he worked with Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D, now Learning Ally) to digitize its recorded books and stream them online, so students with dyslexia and other reading disabilities could listen to their homework.
In 2006 he co-founded WebTribes and its online support communities. He launched TherapyTribe in 2008 so community members could find a therapist near them, and Teletherapy.io in 2020 so therapists could keep seeing clients online during the pandemic. He writes about the technical side of private practice marketing: building a fast, findable website and showing up in Google, Google Maps and AI search.
