Treatment Approach
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Feminist Therapy Addresses how gender roles, power, and social inequality affect mental health. It empowers clients to challenge limiting beliefs and systems.
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My approach is collaborative, relational, and grounded in both insight and action. I integrate solution focused, narrative, and humanistic therapies, along with the Emotionally Focused Therapy, The Gottman Method and parts work, to help you understand the patterns you’re in and actively move toward change. Together, we’ll look at the stories you’re telling yourself and each other, the dynamics that keep those stories in place, and the small, meaningful shifts that can begin to create something different.

You might look like you have it together on the outside, but inside, something feels off. Maybe your relationship feels distant or stuck in the same arguments. Maybe you’re carrying the invisible weight of everything, family, work, emotional labor, and it’s starting to feel like too much. Or maybe you’re moving through a loss that has quietly reshaped how you see yourself, your relationships, and your future.
These experiences don’t happen in isolation. They live inside the larger context of your life, your roles, your relationships, your history, and the expectations placed on you. Therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and begin to shift the patterns that keep you feeling stuck.
I work with couples and individuals navigating disconnection, caregiver burnout, identity shifts, and grief. Many of my clients are in the in between seasons of life, raising families, supporting aging parents, managing careers, while trying not to lose themselves in the process. Couples often come to me after trust has been broken, communication has deteriorated, or they’ve started to feel more like roommates than partners. They want to understand what happened and how to rebuild something stronger.
In our work, you can expect a balance of depth and direction. I’ll help you explore emotions, relational patterns, and underlying needs, while also offering practical tools to improve communication, rebuild trust, and create more connection. This isn’t a space where you’ll be judged or pathologized, it’s a space where you’ll be met as a whole person, with curiosity, respect, and care.
Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or disconnected. It can feel real, engaging, and even relieving, to finally have a place where you don’t have to hold everything on your own.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Reaching out is the first step toward creating a different experience for yourself, your relationships, and your life.
