Excellent listening skills and empathy come with the 14 years I served as a certified nurse midwife prior to becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, which ultimately led me to the decision of becoming a perinatal mental health certified practitioner. I have a passion for caring for pregnant and postpartum clients, but also offer general psychiatric services to anyone ages 18-64 experiencing mild to moderate mental health conditions. For those interested in a faith-based approach to mental health care, I have additional training in Christian mental health coaching, but this is not a requirement for treatment.
