Approach Description: Needing some relief from the stress, anxiety, “meh” feelings, or burnout? Is something holding you back from living your fullest and most authentic, joyful life? I offer effective tools to help you manage stress, navigate through challenges you are experiencing, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels good again. We will collaborate to help you find more ease & relief. Therapy can, in fact, often feel deeply supportive, creative, and healing.
As a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who is also a Board-Certified Music Therapist, I am here to support you. I aim to hold a nonjudgmental and supportive space for you. In addition to verbal counseling, I can offer a variety of creative approaches; this can look like engaging in a guided imagery or relaxation experience with the support of recorded or live music, or engaging in a little art! As a result, clients may reconnect with their strengths, internal wisdom, & healing potential in new or profound ways.
I also offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy, which uses imagery and eye movements to move anxiety and work through other challenges, often quickly.

I am most passionate about working with young adults who are holding a lot. We can work together to help you (re)connect with your self and your innate wellbeing, wisdom, & creative energy. We will meet your stressors with compassion and resources, using a collaborative approach, to help you achieve more ease and relief. I believe that you are the expert on your life and you hold the wisdom needed to move forward on your healing journey. We will go at your pace.
If you are feeling anxious or uncertain about starting therapy, know that you are not alone! Therapy is a unique experience, and it is important that you feel comfortable with your therapist. Whether you have a goal or are curious about therapy and aren’t sure if it is for you or not, I welcome you to contact me and we can explore this together. I seek ongoing training to bring a trauma-informed and multicultural lens, to strengthen anti-oppressive practices and to help support clients who experience minority stress and trauma or generational trauma. Whether you’re feeling stressed out, burned out, or something is holding you back from living your fullest life, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
I am a psychotherapist at Peninsula Center for Children & Families, offering in-person and virtual sessions.
