Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: I strive to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness to help clients better understand patterns, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change in their lives.

I work with teens and adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, and life transitions. My goal is to create a supportive and comfortable space where you feel heard, understood, and able to show up as yourself without judgment.
I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2019 with a specialization in Services to Hispanic Children and Families. My approach to therapy is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and empowering, and I work with clients to build healthy coping skills while also creating space to process emotions and life experiences at their own pace. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and EMDR to help clients better understand patterns, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change in their lives.
As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish. I became a therapist after recognizing the lack of accessible mental health support within Hispanic communities and the stigma many people face when seeking help. Being able to offer culturally understanding care and normalize conversations around mental health is something I deeply value.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and fishing.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you do not have to navigate things alone. I would be honored to support you in your healing and growth journey.
