Welcome! I am thrilled that you are here and are considering getting the help that you need. I’m Brittany, Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate. I received my MA in Clinical Mental Health from Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington. The bulk of my clinical experience has been with women and children who have experienced various types of trauma. Now having transitioned into private practice, I work primarily with individuals who want to see improvements in regards to their self-esteem.
You can find comfort in the fact that I have identified the work that is required of us to create a different reality for you from a personal and professional level. In this reality, you consider your feelings and needs, you have stopped the people pleasing, and you have the confidence that is required to achieve your dreams. Everyone’s journey through these struggles looks different, so ours won’t look the same, but we both have fought and are fighting the same battle.
As you already know, the fight isn’t an easy one. There will be work required from the both of us. I have nothing but the utmost confidence in you that you can and will win this battle, and when you do you’ll see the strength that has always been inside of you.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
Approach Description: My approach to counseling is very relational and person-centered. If needed, I will also implement Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy as well as Art Therapy.

Flourish Beyond Therapy was created primarily for individuals who are tired of dealing with low self-esteem and issues surrounding codependency. My clients are competent, strong, and full of potential, but they don’t believe this about themselves when they first start meeting with me. They usually believe themselves to be incompetent, inadequate, and unwanted. Children and adolescence with whom I have met with, find themselves walking into school feeling isolated; they’re not accomplishing what they’re capable of academically, and they are fearful of joining any new group or speaking up in class because they don’t want to make a mistake and embarrass themselves. Adult clients with whom I have met with find themselves making decisions based on the needs and wants of everyone around them without considering their own needs and wants; they are not achieving what they would like to personally or professionally, and they are constantly searching for outside approval. If any of this resonates with you, please book an appointment with me today. I can help and I want to help. You have an endless amount of potential hiding inside of you, let’s uncover it together.
