Treatment Approach
- Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Gestalt Therapy Encourages awareness of thoughts, feelings, and actions in the present moment. It helps people integrate different parts of themselves for wholeness.
- Hypnotherapy Uses guided relaxation and focus to access the subconscious mind. It is often used for habits, anxiety, and pain management.
- Transactional Analysis Explores interactions through the lens of Parent, Adult, and Child roles. It aims to improve communication and self-awareness.
Approach Description: First, an evaluation is done to define a diagnosis and treatment plan. Then, we apply evidence based solutions including cognitive behavior therapy, gestalt therapy, transactional analysis, psycho-dynamic therapy, hypnotherapy or Christian hypnotherapy. We also do couple, child and family therapies.

Living Hope Clinic is a full service, mental health clinic with a staff of two, clinical psychologists, a psychiatric nurse, psychiatric social worker and a counselor.
Dr. Charles Rice and is a licensed psychologists with many years of training and experience. Dr. Rice has had a post-doctoral fellow ship from Harvard Medical School.
We also have Dr. Morgan Press, Psy.D., Mp.H., L.P.C., Has a doctorate in psychology and is a licensed, professional counselor. He has been working with us for three years. He sees patients will any kind of problem, but enjoys working especially with couples.
Dr. Phylis McKinley, Psy.D. also has a doctorate in psychology. She also sees a broad spectrum of patients and enjoys working with parents and children using, among other modalities, play therapy.
Psychological evaluations are done by all clinicians. Psychological testing is done by Dr. Heidi Senethavilay, L.P.C.. She has a doctorate in psychology.
Counseling is also done for all ages and almost all problems.
