I love meeting clients exactly where they are at. I often work with folks who can be very self-critical, usually because they've learned to believe harmful messages about themselves. They might have heard that they aren't good enough because of their beliefs, their sexuality, their neurodivergent brains, or any number of reasons. I help my clients learn to change that narrative. To honestly and fearlessly look at themselves with compassion and acceptance. It's only from that place of compassionate acceptance that can we create meaningful, lasting change.

Approach Description: I use an integrative approach, which means I use many different techniques depending on my clients' needs. I always focus on radical honesty, compassion, and acceptance as a path to change. I believe that our minds and bodies both need to be a part of the change process.

One of my specialities is people who have experienced religious harm. I specialize in this, in part, because it's my story too. Women, queer people, and nuerodivergent people can be on the receiving end of particularly intense religious harm. I work with people to help them understand how they might have been hurt by high control religions and purity culture. Usually that involves unlearning harmful beliefs, finding acceptance and even joy in their sexuality, and learning to trust themselves maybe for the first time ever. Whatever my clients' backgrounds, I love working with people who are ready to get to know themselves on a deeper level. I believe we can only connect with others as deeply as we connect with ourselves, and we can only care for others to the extent that we care for ourselves. Learning to accept, trust, care for, and love yourself is a path to deeper peace, better relationships, and a more meaningful experience of life.
