As a clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience, I provide intensive psychotherapy for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and the emotional toll of persistent stress. I offer telehealth sessions to clients across the United States, as well as in-person appointments in Darien, Connecticut. My approach is highly individualized, grounded in the belief that meaningful change arises through a deeper understanding of one’s emotional life in the present moment. Together, we will work to uncover and shift long-standing patterns that may be interfering with your well-being, relationships, or sense of self. I aim to bring both compassion and challenge to our work—meeting you with respect, curiosity, and acceptance, while also encouraging growth toward a more authentic and connected version of yourself.

Treatment Approach
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
Approach Description: I specialize in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), a focused, evidence-based approach that helps clients resolve unconscious emotional conflicts that often manifest as anxiety, depression, somatic symptoms, or interpersonal difficulties. By identifying habitual defenses, regulating anxiety, and facilitating access to core emotional experiences, ISTDP helps foster lasting psychological and relational change. I am currently engaged in a three-year Core Training in ISTDP and participate in ongoing clinical consultation as part of my commitment to depth, precision, and professional growth.
