Treatment Approach
- Biofeedback / Neurofeedback Teaches people to control body or brain activity using real-time monitoring. It’s often used for stress, anxiety, ADHD, and migraines.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Psychosocial Therapy Looks at how social and environmental factors affect psychological health. It emphasizes relationships, community, and resilience.
- Reality Therapy / Choice Theory Focuses on present choices and taking responsibility for actions. It helps clients create more fulfilling relationships and lives.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: I'm a humanistic therapist who uses an eclectic range of the above therapeutic styles on an as-needed basis. I often invite clients to develop a course of action so that "talk therapy" impacts their lives outside the session.

I hope to help. To this end I offer a wealth of training and experience in a variety of areas to help me see the world from your point of view. Among these are depression (with its diverse symptoms going far beyond simply feeling down) and anxieties of many kinds (e.g. financial, dating, relational, litigious, political, etc.) As a Psychologist and Sexologist, I am sensitive to the impact of loneliness at all stages of life and enjoy helping those seeking love in their golden years. In light of my extensive forensic experience, I offer help for people struggling with or considering litigation, especially those impacted by a hostile work environment. Parking is free and available right outside my door. My office is ADA compliant.
