We are all unique individuals which means that each person I meet with requires special attention. My background and specialties were chosen based on my personal and professional experiences as it relates to our mental and physical wellbeing. Much of this revolves around the fact that behavioral change is not usually easy but has to be a foundation of treatment in order to obtain each individual's optimal health. My hope is to be a catalyst for change, and my goal is to create a safe environment to better reinforce long-term change. My experience provides the opportunity to educate, support, and empower each person that I encounter on a daily basis.

I am a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and acupuncturist with a specific focus on nervous system regulation. While these professional designations do not fall under the typical realm of counseling and therapy, my formal training allows me to take an integrative approach to the mind-body connection. I am Board Certified in Biofeedback and additional clinical experience in school include a counseling preceptorship and "Mindbody Medicine" clinical shifts incorporating biofeedback, CBT, and more.
-Biofeedback provides the tools to explore an individual's response to stressors and the outside world.
-Naturopathic medicine allows me to look at the effects of stress on the body especially as it relates to chronic pain, cardiovascular, digestive, and genitourinary health.
-Acupuncture and Chinese medicine gives me a different perspective from Western medicine and additional tools to rebalance the system.
By combining all of these, we can truly take an integrative approach to healing by using lower force interventions whenever possible. However, I do understand that medications can be helpful solutions in different situations, and I am able to prescribe when appropriate via a supervisory agreement with an MD or DO. I am also an advocate for discontinuing medications when it is safe to do so and there is other support in place.
