Have you felt "stuck" and unable to make that change you so desire? Do you hear from people that you're "not living up to your potential" or "you're so great," but you just don't feel it? Are your relationships plagued by anxiety or distress? These are the things I am expert in managing. I focus largely on work with women, being that I can "speak" the male and female language and navigate relationship issues. I also take a feminist, empowerment focus in our work - we build on your specific strengths, and take into account your objective limitations. Everyone can find happiness, let's find yours, together!

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Feminist Therapy Addresses how gender roles, power, and social inequality affect mental health. It empowers clients to challenge limiting beliefs and systems.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
Approach Description: I combine a gentle, warm environment with a directive, functional approach to behavior change. I assess each person using my Health 360 approach, considering not just the mental but also the physical, social, spiritual, sexual, financial, and other aspects of a person's life. I work as a part of a larger group, Coral Gables Counseling Center. This is important because should you need additional services I don't offer, one of my colleagues may, and this eases the transition. I see patients Monday through Friday during the hours of 9a-6p EST, with some earlier hours or Saturdays available at an additional cost. Sessions are 45-50 minutes long, typically weekly. (Initial couple sessions are 2 hours).
