In our first session, we'll spend some time identifying the symptoms and challenges you've been facing, as well as the changes you'd like to see. Therapy is a partnership, and we'll work together to identify your goals and plan your treatment. Over time, we'll look at coping tools to manage the times you feel overwhelmed, explore the messages you've internalized and whether they're still helping you, and identify situations that may be triggering your symptoms. We may also look at the roles that relationship patterns and communication play in your mental health and work on processing past losses and trauma.
