Emily Brenner Practice Description
My work has a common thread of helping manage change. My clients value my non-judgmental and supportive approach, and their ability to feel heard during some of the most challenging moments they have experienced. My clients have shared their appreciation of my approach, which includes asking questions and being a participant in the therapy dynamic. I am a licensed and board certified creative arts therapist, and as such bring a unique and creative lens to our work together. I am able to do traditional talk therapy. I am also able to add art related interventions to those who find it valuable. Sometimes, people enjoy making art during session, as it feels more connected with teletherapy. Sometimes, I email art interventions after a session as a means of managing feelings or content that came up in our work, and we can process it afterward. And sometimes, people don't choose to do art at all, which is totally fine - like I said, I do traditional talk psychotherapy as well. Please reach out for a free consultation using the form below. You can also call me at (929) 507-3340. If I do not immediately answer, I will get back to you within 24 hours and we can plan our next steps.
