I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist/counselor. I enjoy using a positive psychology approach to help motivate my clients to make lasting emotional and behavioral changes. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process - we will work on treatment goals that we define together! I encourage my clients to trust their own process, engage in self-acceptance to promote an improved sense of self-worth. I like to integrate strategies including mindfulness and cognitive/behavioral approaches to improve coping and emotional regulation skills. I believe that helping individuals develop insight into emotional and relationship patterns is a key component of therapy.
