Treatment Approach

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
  • Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
  • Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
  • Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.

Eryn Reeder Practice Description
Power and healing are possible through the telling, hearing and holding of your story. As humans we typically face challenges and transitions that may induce feelings of sadness, worry, uncertainty or overwhelm. You may have experienced a traumatic incident, and are finding yourself feeling triggered or on edge. You are someone that others tends to rely on and you hold yourself to extremely high expectations. You need and deserve a space where you can low down your burdens and focus on your own healing. I strive to create a safe and supportive holding space where you will feel affirmed to create and explore a new past forward. I utilize aspects of mindfulness, CBT, narrative therapy, spirituality and EMDR to support you on your journey.
