I am a queer, neuro-divergent, disabled Latina who values social equity and liberation. I often bring my quirky sense of humor into the therapy room, while also being adaptable to my individual clients’ needs and personalities.
My personal interests include nature, gardening, being active outdoors, and spiritual reconnection with my indigenous culture. My previous career was in anthropology studying primates and I worked as a field researcher for lemur conservation efforts and as a caretaker in animal sanctuaries! I often spend my free time hanging out with my cats, my partner, and my friends. I am active in grassroots mutual aid work focusing on providing resources and supplies to unhoused folx around San Antonio. I can often be found sipping an iced coffee and I love expressing myself through my sense of fashion. I look forward to connecting with you!

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Biofeedback / Neurofeedback Teaches people to control body or brain activity using real-time monitoring. It’s often used for stress, anxiety, ADHD, and migraines.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I
believe human growth occurs through safe, mutual connections, while honoring a
person’s cultural experience through individual and broader systemic lenses. By the
same token, I believe diagnosing holds its value and utilize evidence-based diagnosis
when appropriate. I integrate counseling interventions to fit my clients’ needs and
operate from a Health At Every Size framework.

My core values are authenticity, justice, compassion, and community. I believe therapy is a radical act of self-care and I center my counseling space to be safe, nonjudgmental and anti-racist so that it is a place of healing and growth. My counseling approach is de-colonial, strengths-based, and rooted in relational cultural therapy. I believe human growth occurs through safe, mutual connections, while honoring a person’s cultural experience through individual and broader systemic lenses. By the same token, I believe diagnosing holds its value and utilize evidence-based diagnosis when appropriate. I integrate counseling interventions to fit my clients’ needs while maintaining a trauma-informed approach. I have experience utilizing CBT, ACT, DBT, attachment theory, somatic therapy, and expressive arts therapy, such as art and gardening.
