Hi, my name is Cynthia. I am glad you are seeking to better your well-being and future! With God’s guidance, I provide Christian mental health, substance/alcohol, weight loss/wellness, and eating disorder counseling to women ages 18 and above. Helping women recognize their inner strength, overcome, and thrive beyond trauma, abuse, addictions, and tragedy is a calling in my life. My experiences and research support that improving our spiritual health betters our mental, emotional, and physical wellness and helps us overcome addictions, trauma, and tragedies to effectively cope in our daily life.

Approach Description: I integrate Christian/spiritual therapy with mental health counseling in nature, online, community, and office settings. Initially, we will explore what brought you to therapy and ways to address your needs. Throughout therapy, we will examine how your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and spiritual wellness impact your life and how they can better your life.

Education: I attended Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia where I attained an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Clinical Addiction's Specialist, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

- I offer a sliding fee scale between $60 to $120 for cash paying clients based on income.

- Currently, for substance/alcohol use issues, I bill private pay and the following insurance through Headway, a billing partner; Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC, Optum, Optum EAP, Oscar Health, Oxford, UHC Student resources, UMR, UnitedHealthcare UHC|UBH. I also bill NC Medicaid in the VAYA Health region of 32 NC counties for substance and/or alcohol use counseling. In addition, I bill private pay clients for mental health and/or substance use counseling on a sliding fee scale based on income.
