Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Schema Therapy Identifies deep-rooted negative patterns formed in childhood. It combines CBT, attachment theory, and experiential methods for change.
Approach Description: I am a firm believer in making therapy a profound life changing experience and minimizing the ambiguity and lack of focus that it can sometimes become if the therapist does not empathically challenge the client. Patient's leave my office having identified their issues with new ways of understanding how to navigate life.

I work with people on removing the obstacles to their growth, happiness, and well-being. Manyof us seem to meander through life struggling to live according to our true desires and potential. Secret addictions, emotional problems, problems or self worth, and profound relational problems inhibit our ability to lead happy and productive lives. The news just doesn't seem to get better with time. It does not have to be that way though. The type of work I do with individuals, couples, and children has the potential to radically improve the outcomes of life's challenges and problems. Though life is difficult, it does not have to be a mediocre existience. In fact, with the right psychological work and spiritual development it can be wonderful and exciting again.
