Therapy Sessions Jasmine Turner Practice Description
At P.S. Counseling Solutions, we provide evidence-based counseling for individuals, couples, teens, and families in need of support with navigating life’s challenges. We create a safe, collaborative, and paced environment where clients feel heard, respected and empowered to produce sustainable change. Licensed in Illinois and New Mexico, we provide secure telehealth counseling for clients making professional mental health support accessible and convenient. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, trauma, or major life transitions, we are here to help you build resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward a life that is thriving in emotional stability, fulfillment, and purpose. Our practice focuses on rebuilding trust, connection and safety within self and in the context of familial relationships and intimate partnerships. We also focus on capacity building and placing the situations that life throws at us into the proper contexts by helping to shift perspectives, and reframe negative thinking patterns. Let's face it...life will never be without hardship, but having the tools to tolerate distress and finding the meaning in the unpleasantness of life's challenges can make all the difference. Our practice also takes a trauma-informed approach understanding that much of who people become, and how they show up in the world and relationships can all be shaped by unprocessed traumatic life experiences. Specifically, trauma impacts our perceptions, attachment styles, how we handle conflict, and how we communicate. Counseling sessions provide psychoeducation on the effects of trauma while providing a roadmap for achieving internal stability and safety for successful individual and relational outcomes. We also recognize that spirituality can play an important role in healing and personal growth for many individuals. Faith-informed perspectives are strategically integrated into sessions when it aligns with a client’s personal beliefs and value system. Implementing this approach allows clients to navigate their healing journeys while also connecting with their values and spiritual principles. The integration of faith and spirituality is optional and at the discretion of the client.
