Specialties include depression reduction, decreasing anxiety and panic attacks, stress management, anger management, marriage counseling, other relationship issues, assertiveness training, divorce recovery, and procrastination. In marriage counseling, I see the marriage as the client, working to support and improve it. I use the practical results of Gottman's research following over 3000 couples for over 30 years to help couples move forward practically, positively, and constructively. I have given over 400 seminars on stress management to, among others, IBM, NBC, Farmers Insurance, The U.S. Navy, and the faculties of Fuller Theological Seminary. I was the pro bono speaker between 2009 and 2019 at a large Divorce Recovery Workshop that has had over 16,000 attend since 1981.
