I spent 15 years as a high school teacher, administrator, and coach learning how to communicate with people often in difficult circumstances. The most important aspect of communicating well is truly listening to what is going on without judgment or fear. Your story and the issues you face deserve to be honored and heard. Too often, we fear others seeing our struggles so we hide them and try to deny they exist. Isolation is where problems grow. Whatever you are facing, there is a path forward and you do not have to walk it alone. There are real solutions for depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, or any of the other issues you face.
