I’m an experienced psychotherapist with a passion for supporting people on their journey of change. I am excited about helping people achieve new ways of coping and being in life. I received my Bachelors degree in social work from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. I completed my Masters in Social Work from USC in Los Angeles, California in 1990. I have been licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1997,
I use a range of intervention styles including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic, Object Relations and Attachment-focused therapies. I have also received training in EMDR: an intervention which has been shown to provide much relief from the pain and symptoms of chronic and acute trauma.
Through the use of a compassionate, mindful and safe space, along with various evidence based interventions, our work together will help you to develop more effective coping strategies and make positive changes in your life and your relationships.
