Julia Libertad (She/Her)

Counselor/Therapist, Psicopedagogía- Sex Education.
 therapist: Julia Libertad,
Online in Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom (Online Only)
I'm Julia Dominguez, a Clinical Psychopedagogist and sex educator based in Argentina, offering online consultations worldwide. I work at the intersection of learning and sexuality — helping individuals, couples, and families navigate learning difficulties, inclusive sex education, disability and intimacy, and kink-affirmative relationships, all in a warm, non-judgmental space. If you're looking for support that takes both your mind and your desires seriously, I'd love to hear from you. Treatment Approach

  • Biopsychosocial Therapy Takes into account biological, psychological, and social factors in understanding mental health. It looks at the whole person, not just symptoms.
  • Feminist Therapy Addresses how gender roles, power, and social inequality affect mental health. It empowers clients to challenge limiting beliefs and systems.
  • Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
  • Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
  • Psychosocial Therapy Looks at how social and environmental factors affect psychological health. It emphasizes relationships, community, and resilience.
Approach Description: My approach is grounded in learning processes rather than pathology — I understand psychological and relational difficulties as ways people have learned to construct, block, or protect their relationship to knowledge, desire, and the body. Rather than applying generic formulas, I work collaboratively with each person or couple to open up new possibilities and a greater sense of agency. I integrate a sex-positive, kink-affirmative, and disability-inclusive framework across all of my work, informed by a rights-based and gender perspective. My style is warm and non-judgmental, combining clinical rigor with genuine curiosity about each client's unique context — whether we're addressing learning difficulties, family communication, sexuality, or relationship dynamics. I draw on psychopedagogical and educational-clinical frameworks as my core orientation, and stay attentive to evidence-based approaches (such as cognitive-behavioral models) when they're relevant to a client's specific needs, always adapting technique to the person rather than the reverse.

Julia Libertad Practice Description
I'm Julia Dominguez, a licensed Clinical Psychopedagogist (Lic. en Psicopedagogía Clínica) with an active professional license in Argentina, along with postgraduate diplomas in Sexology, Couples Therapy, and Sex Education. My clinical framework is grounded in learning processes — how people construct, block, or repair their relationship to knowledge, desire, and the body. From this foundation, I work across two connected areas: psychopedagogical support for learning difficulties and family communication, and sex-positive education around sexuality, intimacy, and relationships. I have extensive experience with individual, group, and community-based approaches, and I'm especially committed to inclusive education — working with families and individuals with disabilities, adapting both learning support and sex education to each person's specific needs and context. I also work with diverse families, including those navigating adoption processes, and with couples from a sex-positive, kink-affirmative perspective grounded in gender and rights-based frameworks. Before moving into clinical practice, I ran a sex shop where I collaborated with artists and designed my own BDSM products, working closely with the kink community on fit, safety, and accessibility. A significant part of my clientele included people with disabilities, which shaped my ongoing commitment to accessible, body-diverse approaches to intimacy. I believe in a clinic built on listening and learning — one that opens up possibility and agency, rather than imposing generic formulas. I offer online consultations in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, by video call or written consultation, adapting each session to the pace and needs of the person in front of me.
