Managing chronic illness is hard. Whether it's chronic pain, an autoimmune disorder, insomnia, fibromyalgia, Ehler's Danlos, or any other host of diagnoses, it can be hard to feel like yourself. But you are not your diagnosis. My name is Kim Kiselica and I am a clinical health psychologist. My practice focuses on taking back your life from chronic illness and finding a balance that works for you. We work together to get you back.

Client Focus

Session Format: Individual sessions.
Age Specialty: Adult

Treatment Approach

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy combines scientifically backed strategies with compassion, individualization, and some trial-and-error. Different things work for different people, but I am trained in foundational approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Chronic Pain, other chronic illness management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for Chronic Pain. We start here and then go where it works for you.
