Many things in our lives can lead us to reach out when we feel the need for support or help working through challenges. The familiar ways of dealing with life's challenges may no longer be working, but together we can tap into your natural ability to adapt and change. I help my clients reorganize patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting in order to adapt to their present reality and to release the ‘old stuff.’

Approach Description: I practice from a strengths-based, person-centered approach, collaborating to work toward my clients' growth and healing. My ‘home base’ is a person-centered approach, though I make frequent use of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). I am certified through EMDRIA in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based practice to heal from trauma. EMDR is a wonderful tool to address barriers to moving forward rooted in past adversities and traumas.

Many of my clients work on trauma and pain they have carried for a long time. I welcome clients from various experiences, particularly those seeking support for trauma, personal growth, and life transitions. My aim is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space to grow in awareness, integration, responsibility, and authenticity. I believe you know yourself best of anyone, whether you fully realize it or not.
I became a therapist because I knew what it felt like to be preoccupied by something crying out to be "fixed" or "solved." I enjoy working with clients to collaboratively address their challenges. I am continually grateful for the chance to meet individuals where they are, as myself, and walk alongside them on their journey, empowering them to discover deeper meaning and purpose in their lives.
The therapeutic process begins before I ever speak with a client, and it often takes some courage to reach out. If you are considering therapy, call or visit my web portal to consult or schedule a visit.
