It is really easy to let all the negative thoughts consume you and make you feel like there is no way out. It can feel overwhelming or even debilitating to feel as though you are not able to get out of a negative spiral and somehow find joy and contentment in life. Trust me, I have been there. This is why in our sessions I will always bring warmth, compassion, and sometimes a touch of humor to make it feel more comfortable and relaxed. Seeking out therapy takes a lot of courage and awareness of your struggles and that will never go unnoticed. I am here to meet you where you are at in this moment and to work together to make your life how you want it to be.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My approach is overall Eclectic, meaning, I do not practice a one size fits all approach. Every session is specific to my clients needs and what will be the most helpful for them in the moment. In mental health, we need a broad approach in order to truly help clients and their unique needs of what will best fit them.

As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I work with my clients to help navigate how they process the world and how to use their strengths to get them to where they want to be. There is no fixing goin going on here- you are not broken. How you view the world is important to me, and we will collaborate together on how to make what you want possible. Additionally, you should know, there is not one theory or approach that I stick with. Everyone is unique and therefore we will both be coming up with multiple strategies that can help. If one does not work, then we are back to the drawing board! There is no one size fits all to therapy, and this will always be a team effort to figure out what works and what doesn't and continuing to figure out and process what works best for you. Every session is different than the last. If you need a space to vent and process. I am here with open ears. If you are wanting to be challenged, I will give you different perspective of your way of thinking and also challenge you on things that might be uncomfortable. With this being said, I want to make it clear that I will always be authentic and understanding of you and what you are going through. This is why the therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist is the most important piece. I want you to feel comfortable with telling me anything that is on your mind and what you are needing in the moment. For the times when you don't know what you need in the moment, we will work through it together. This is and will always be a team effort.
