Approach Description:
If you’ve done the talk therapy thing before and decided it’s not for you, it may be time to try a different model. CRM is a model that targets and treats complex trauma, dissociation, and emotional difficulties. CRM is a powerful tool that offers clients secure resources so that they can safely begin to process their traumatic material. CRM achieves this through deep breathing, meditation, imagery, and inner child work.
I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, which is the most effective form of couple therapy. When couples feel disconnected, they can often lash out in anger towards each other and get stuck in a place of reactivity. As time goes on, couples can find themselves growing farther and farther apart, as the reactivity sets in deeper and deeper. EFT interrupts this disconnection by allowing partners to understand their personal emotional experience and how that impacts the relationship. EFT organizes and distills our emotional reality in a way where our needs and longings can finally be understood and met. If you are looking for the roadmap to connection, EFT is the guide to your safe haven.
