I start with assisting clients in problem-solving by identifying what is getting in the way of feeling better; next, we'll decide on the best approach to achieving that wellness. Lastly, I help guide them through the experience with openness, warmth, and nonjudgment. I have experience in utilizing several research-based theories of counseling, including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
