Hi, I’m Patrick.
I'm originally from Oklahoma but have lived in Utah for over 15 years. I love my two dachshunds, sports, stand-up comedy, concerts, and spending time with my wife and two sons.
I specialize in treating OCD using ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), but I also draw from CBT, EFT principles, positive psychology, and evolutionary psychology. I blend evidence-based strategies with a deep curiosity about what makes you you. I’m also not afraid to dig into the big existential questions and how they come up in life.
My style is relaxed, collaborative, and straightforward. Clients tell me they feel safe, understood, and surprisingly comfortable being real with me—even when we’re talking about the hard stuff like intrusive thoughts, sexual shame, or life transitions that shake your sense of self. I believe therapy works best when it feels like an honest conversation between equals. I bring clinical expertise, a nonjudgmental attitude, and a solid sense of humor. You bring your experience, goals, and values. Together, we figure things out.
If you’re looking for a therapist who’s both serious about helping and not too serious in general, I’d love to meet you.
