Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you’re used to handling things on your own. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what’s going on without feeling like you have to have everything figured out first. I believe therapy should be practical, collaborative, and connected to your real life—not just a place to talk about problems.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your own thoughts, struggling with confidence, or navigating a major transition, we’ll work together to understand what’s getting in the way and find ways forward. I’ll meet you where you are while also challenging you when it can help you grow. You don’t have to wait until things feel unbearable to reach out. If something in your life isn’t working the way you want it to, therapy can be a place to start making a change.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered therapy. I use these approaches to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical skills for navigating challenges.
ACT can help you respond differently to difficult thoughts and feelings while staying connected to your values and what matters most to you. CBT focuses on identifying patterns in thinking and behavior that may be keeping you stuck and developing more helpful ways of responding. Motivational Interviewing helps you explore ambivalence, clarify your goals, and build motivation for meaningful change. Person-centered therapy provides a foundation of collaboration and respect, recognizing that you are the expert on your own experience.
I tailor these approaches to each client rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. Therapy is a collaborative process focused on helping you understand yourself, build useful skills, and make changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.
