Whatever your intention for therapy, I promise to work with you compassionately, non-judgementally, to understand and to clear what is getting in the way for you. As a Human Givens therapist, I use a variety of tools to do this. I am additionally trained in IFS, Art Therapy, the Polyvagal theory, Somatic therapies, and the Neuro Affective Relational Model.

Treatment Approach
- Art Therapy Uses creative activities like drawing, painting, or sculpture as a way to express emotions. It is especially helpful when words are hard to find.
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Biopsychosocial Therapy Takes into account biological, psychological, and social factors in understanding mental health. It looks at the whole person, not just symptoms.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Hypnotherapy Uses guided relaxation and focus to access the subconscious mind. It is often used for habits, anxiety, and pain management.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Music Therapy Uses music listening, songwriting, or rhythm exercises to support healing. It is effective for stress, emotional expression, and cognitive challenges.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I am a Human Givens Practitioner, a Level 1 and 2 IFS Therapist (Internal Family Systems), and a Narm (Neuro affective relational model) Professional.
I use IFS and Narm for clients who have developmental trauma/complex PTSD as opposed to shock trauma or PTSD. PTSD can be treated with the Human Givens approach, which is a brief therapy. Both IFS and Narm take some of the principles in Human Givens deeper, and thus allow me to work with certain clients with complex ptsd or developmental trauma. I also use Polyvagal theory.

I can help you deal with depression of all kinds, anxiety problems, anger problems, grief and loss, addictions, sleep issues, OCD and PTSD and complex trauma. As a therapist I hold the post-graduate diploma in Human Givens. I complement my Human Givens work with “parts” work as an IFS therapist, and a Narm practitioner. Both methods create a new lens to see our behaviours, thoughts, and patterns, and to redeploy old, perhaps ingrained approaches.
Most recently I have been retraining as an Art Therapist in France, working in various capacities within addictology, and with refugees. The nonverbal aspect of this work is a good alternative to talk therapy, and is not limited to children.
Beyond therapy I am still involved in Business Coaching, and Creativity Coaching. I had long experience in the corporate world of business management and sales management, and am also a keen artist and understand the blocks that artists of all types often face. To keep things fresh, I am a qualified ski teacher in the neighbouring Val d’Aoste in Italy. My therapy experience has taught me how and show how guided visualisation, can aid ski performance.
