Shannon prides herself on rapport building and establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship with her clients. She provides a compassionate, non-judgmental, and positive atmosphere to promote personal growth and emotional well-being. Shannon has an eclectic approach to therapy that is strength based and client driven.
Shannon has worked in various settings including: community mental health, child welfare, substance abuse, residential, healthcare, schools, and private practice. Special areas of interest include, but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, relationship/family difficulties, grief and loss, stress management, self-esteem, life coaching, and other life transition/adjustment issues. She especially enjoys working with adolescents, college students, and senior adults.
