I provide clinical counseling to adults for trauma related effects of past physical, emotional, and neglect abuse; and grief/bereavement, suicidal ideation, and substance abuse issues. I provide these services to schools, agencies, courts, attorney clients, probation offices, and self-referrals. My clients have been and continue to be ethnically diverse. My counseling services have often included cooperation, interaction, and assistance with administrative and legal proceedings. I only accept individuals 17 years and older. I do not provide Couples Counseling.

Approach Description: I ask clients to complete empirically validated Pre-Treatment Assessments to better help me to better understand their needs as well as to help the clients better understand their needs. I then formulate a Psychological Evaluation based on the clinical findings (concerns) and then triage the findings into an evidenced based treatment plan. My approach in session is non-judgmental. I eclectically subscribe to Reality Therapy, Choice Theory, Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy. I ask clients to complete Interim -Treatment assessments (if necessary), and Post-Treatment Assessments. The assessments will monitor and measure the client's progress towards reducing the triaged clinical concerns.
